Free Favicons
Here I have created, and put online, a selection of simple ready-to-use favicons.
ixfix free favicons has been tested for consistent appearance on:
- Internet Explorer
- Firefox
- Opera
and no animals have been harmed in the creation of these pages.
Using the Favicons
Using a Favicon is another way of branding your website and establishig your sites online identity.
Make sure you add the favicon link element to the <head> section of your html code:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" />
This should be added before the </head> tag.
